YOU are award WORTHY!

Fellow Occupational Health Nurses....WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We KNOW you do great work and many of us work in single nurse units so that your colleagues don't really know how awesome you really are.  (Nurses are notoriously lousy at tooting our own horns).  

However, your managers get to see you in action and have a much better understanding of your programs, contributions and the impact you make on your work site and in your employee's lives.  

We have combined all of our various Occupational Health Nursing awards into one award and renamed it the SC Occupational Health Nurse of the Year Award.  We have changed our guidelines and will now accept nominations from people outside of our organization.  

So how can you help?  We want you to forward this announcement to your manager or to someone in your organization who knows your contributions.  Imagine how good it would feel to know your manager and colleagues recognizes your contribution - even if you don't win!   Or...toot your own horn!  That's right, we give you full permission to do so, and we highly encourage it!  If you do choose to toot your own horn, please include one letter of recommendation as well.
