SC WCC Advisory Notice May 31, 2024 - Electronic Payments Final

The SC WC Commission has issued an advisory notice regarding electronic payment of TTD/mileage/etc. Joint Resolution S*1266 has been signed into law, approving Regulation Document Number 5266 effective 5/13/2024. Document 5266 changes to how periodic temporary compensation and expenses are paid to claimants and requires that these payment be made by electronic payment systems unless the claimant elects in writing to receive checks.
